Farewell to ‘Free Will’ !

If you cannot answer “yes” to the following, you must admit that you have no control, whatsoever, over your life: Can you give an example of a choice or decision you made, and the resulting action you took, that was ‘free of’ or ‘free from’ your Will, Drive, Desire, or Motivation to do it?

‘Free Will’ Disproof for Dummies

My brother committed suicide many years ago. He was cremated, with his ashes now buried in the ground

As a child, he loved life, and lived life, to the fullest

He had every intention of experiencing all the joys of living

During early adulthood, he was stricken with severe schizophrenia

The emotional suffering he endured became unbearable

After many months of excruciating, agonizing pain…

And trying, and hoping, and self-deluding…

He became hopelessly depressed, knowing his pain would never end…

And he committed suicide

To you who say “he had the free will to choose not to end his life”…

The belief in ‘free will’ is mankind’s most destructive flaw

If the concept of ‘free will’ is absurd, so is the concept of ‘God’

The Bible Disproves Itself Four Times in The Garden of Eden

God commanded to Adam and Eve: “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die”

The serpent contradicted God, telling Eve: “You will not certainly die, for God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil”

When the concept of ‘free will’ is seen and analyzed as it actually is – as two separate words or concepts, rather than the one-word concept it has always been mistaken to be – it becomes a logical absurdity. When the word ‘free’ is used as an adjective to describe or modify the noun ‘will’, the result is logical and rational nonsense. Saying that “will is free” is as preposterous as saying that “drive, desire and motivation are free,” “smell is fast,” “color is evil,” or “love is immobile”

WILL, DRIVE, DESIRE and MOTIVATION (WDDM), or ‘wanting’ share the same meaning (Check dictionary)

‘Choosing’ and ‘deciding’ are determined by the strength and intensity of your WDDM to experience PLEASURE. Therefore, ‘choosing’ and ‘deciding’ are not ‘freely willed’: they are solely determined by – not free of, or free from – your WDDM to experience PLEASURE. It is not WDDM that is free or unfree: It is the PHYSICAL MOVEMENT caused and compelled by WDDM that is free or unfree. As puppets or marionettes are compelled (or ‘willed’) to MOVE by strings attached to their limbs, humans are INSTINCTUALLY compelled to MOVE by WDDM. Humans are – as are all Living Things – ‘pleasure puppets’ in the Puppet Show of Life; ‘actors’ or ‘characters’ in the Movie of Life (See Featured Post)

FIRST  DISPROOF

Because Eve was not free to create her WDDM to eat the apple, nor free to eliminate her WDDM to eat the apple, nor free to determine the strength and intensity of her WDDM to eat the apple… ‘freedom of her WILL to eat the apple’, ‘freedom of her DRIVE to eat the apple’, ‘freedom of her DESIRE to eat the apple’, and ‘freedom of her MOTIVATION to eat the apple’ are nonsensical and absurd

Eve’s WDDM to experience the PLEASURE of eating the apple and ‘being like God’ was stronger and more intense than her WDDM to avoid certain death; and she was therefore INSTINCTUALLY compelled to eat the apple

Because Eve did not ‘freely choose’ or ‘freely decide’ to eat the apple causing the ‘fall of man’ and the existence of ‘sin’, it is absurd to conclude that she was ‘guilty of’ or ‘was personally responsible for’ the elimination of ‘Paradise’ and the creation of ‘Heaven and Hell’

Because Eve was forced and compelled to eat the apple by or via her INSTINCTUALLY-determined WDDM (that is, not ‘personally responsible for’ or ‘guilty of’ eating it); the idea that she, and all of humankind, were ‘deserving of punishment’ is illogical and makes no sense

SECOND  DISPROOF

Adam and Eve had to be mentally ill to believe the words of a serpent over the words of God himself

Christians say that God is a fair God; but a fair God would not allow ‘the fall of man’ to be determined by mentally ill humans

THIRD  DISPROOF

Adam and Eve were suicidal; they wanted to die: God, himself, told them they would die if they ate the apple

A fair God would not allow ‘the fall of man’ to be determined by humans who were suicidal – who wanted to die

FOURTH  DISPROOF

God failed to convince Adam and Eve that He was really, truly God

Christians say that God is infallible; so he could not have made the error and mistake of failing to convince Adam and Eve that He was the real and true God. Adam and Eve would not have believed, and have taken more seriously, the words of a serpent rather than the words of God himself (given they were both of sound mind and perfectly sane)
