‘Free will’ has been the principal mistaken concept categorizing human beings as ‘higher than’ and ‘superior to’ other Living Things. The following irrefutable, definitive disproof of ‘free will’ rightfully places mankind back into the category of ‘All Living Things that Populate and Inhabit Planet Earth’
WILL, DRIVE, DESIRE and MOTIVATION are nouns sharing the same meaning; and will henceforth be designated by the abbreviation WDDM. (See the exact similarities in meaning following this book summary)
Your WILL, DRIVE, DESIRE and MOTIVATION (or WDDM) to physically MOVE to do something which causes you to experience PLEASURE can also be designated by the abbreviation IDMP, which stands for ‘the INSTINCTUAL DRIVE to MOVE to experience PLEASURE’
A food-starved man has a very strong and intense WDDM to eat (he has a strong and intense INSTINCTUAL DRIVE to MOVE to experience the PLEASURE, or IDMP, of eating). Because he is not free to create, nor free to eliminate, nor free to alter the intensity of his WDDM to eat… ‘freedom of his WILL to eat’, ‘freedom of his DRIVE to eat’, ‘freedom of his DESIRE to eat’, and ‘freedom of his MOTIVATION to eat’ are nonsensical and absurd. This applies to all human WDDM – such as the WDDM to have sex, the WDDM to be kind, the WDDM to be cruel, the WDDM for power, the WDDM to amass wealth, etc.
If ‘choosing’ and ‘deciding’ are always based upon, dependent upon and determined by the strength and intensity of your WDDM to experience the greatest degree of PLEASURE (or lack of PAIN)… then ‘making a choice’ and ‘making a decision’ are not free, because they are always inextricably bound to, determined by, and dependent upon – and not free of, or free from – your WDDM to experience the greatest degree of PLEASURE
For example: when you go to a restaurant, you will always order or choose the menu item which you BELIEVE will cause you to experience the greatest degree of PLEASURE (you will physically MOVE to purchase and eat that menu item)
If you attempted to prove to me the existence and validity of ‘free will’ by presenting me with a specific, real-life example of it by intentionally and ‘freely’ ordering or choosing a menu item which you knew you hated, you would actually be invalidating and disproving it: your WDDM to experience the emotional PLEASURE of proving me wrong was stronger and more intense than your WDDM to experience the PLEASURE of eating a delicious meal, thus causing and compelling you to make the unfree choice and unfree decision of ordering and eating the food you knew you hated
If, while attempting to experience the emotional PLEASURE of proving to me the existence and validity of ‘free will’, a gunman entered the restaurant, placed a gun to your head, and demanded that you not eat the menu item you hated… and, assuming your WDDM to experience the PLEASURE of continuing to live was stronger and more intense than your WDDM to die… your WDDM to experience the emotional PLEASURE of continuing to live would be stronger and more intense than your WDDM to experience the emotional PLEASURE of proving to me the existence and validity of ‘free will’, and you would be compelled to make the unfree choice and unfree decision not to eat the food. (As rationally- and logically-sound and irrefutable as a 50 pound rock dropped on your head would hurt you more than a tiny pebble dropped on your head)
It is not human WILL, DRIVE, DESIRE and MOTIVATION that is free or unfree. It is the PHYSICAL MOVEMENT caused and compelled by them that is either free or unfree
As puppets are compelled to MOVE by strings attached to their limbs, human beings (and all Living Things) are INSTINCTUALLY compelled to MOVE by or via WDDM/IDMP (WILL, DRIVE, DESIRE and MOTIVATION / INSTINCTUAL DRIVE to MOVE to experience PLEASURE)
Human brains are incapable of perceiving or knowing ‘The Divine Puppeteer’ (referred to in SUPERHUMAN REALITY as ‘The DIVINE CONTROLLER’) – though the existence of The DIVINE CONTROLLER can be deduced and assumed: like the existence of wind can be assumed by seeing tree limbs MOVE, or the existence of rotting flesh can be assumed by smelling its terrible odor
There are no ‘good people’, ‘bad people’, ‘smart people’, ‘dumb people’ and ‘SUPERHUMAN people’ – only good, bad, smart, dumb and SUPERHUMAN brains. And because ‘thinking’ is INSTINCTUALLY caused and compelled, and not ‘freely chosen’… the behaviors caused and compelled by ‘thinking’ are also INSTINCTUALLY caused and compelled, and not ‘freely chosen’
Knowing this, human critical judgement or condemnation of others’ behavior (as well as your own) will be replaced with the SUPERHUMAN peaceful and compassionate understanding that people think and behave as they MUST – not as they ‘freely choose’ or ‘freely decide’ to think and behave: ‘personal responsibility’, ‘personal accountability’, ‘self-determination’ and ‘self-motivation’ become nonsensical and absurd
‘Free will’ has been the greatest misconception and delusion regarding the interpretation, understanding, and explanation of human psychology, human nature and ‘the human condition’
The only humanly-knowable purpose of Living Things is to experience PLEASURE via WDDM/IDMP. PLEASURE is also the sole purpose of survival: lack of PLEASURE compels suicide
If there is some ‘greater meaning’ or ‘higher purpose’, the human brain cannot perceive it – like an ear cannot perceive color, and an eye cannot perceive sound
PLEASURE is experienced by: a virus infecting, a bird flying, a bee stinging, an animal mating, a tree growing, a spider spinning a web, a ‘cruel person’ killing, a ‘kind person’ helping, a woman reading, a man eating, etc.
